Module Madness Part 2

The Design Element
Module madness is quite simply the placing of content into nice little containers. These stand out from other organization methods because every element is contained in what is usually a separate and distinct little bucket. By doing so content is broken into chunks and can often be more easily consumed. This works particularly well for content heavy sites.
A perfect example of this is
Entertainment Africa
. This site is super heavy on the content (and style actually). By placing the content into easy to scan modules the page becomes infinitely easier to digest. Nice clear and prominent titles on these modules further enhance the ease of use. The sites design also makes very nice use of emphasis in many ones. Notice how the first article in each bucket is a little more prominent then the older ones? It is amazing how much this impacts the design and use of the page.
